Literature examination (topics and components)

Good Afternoon everyone.. yeah.. Since Alvin told me to type the lit exam thingy so i just type lor..Read yourself if you don have that piece of paper.


Section A: Stories from shakespeare (50%)
You are required to know plot, character study and themes for all the selected stories listed:
- Romeo and Juliet
- The merchant of Venice
- Macbeth
- Julius Caesar
There will be crossword puzzles, text based questions (structured questions) as well as essays for this section.

Section B: Seen prose (25%)
- Unit 4 the mouth-organ boys
- Unit 5 the airman’s Sixpence
You are required to know the plot, events and character study in both stories.There will be true or false questions and test based questions (structured questions) for this section.

Section C: unseen poetry (25%)
You are required to know the following.
- Stanzas and Lines
- Simile and Metaphors
- Rhyme
- Speaker and voice
There will be a section where you are required to fill in the end rhymes as well as text based questions.
